Ongoing
Outreach Table in the Welcome Center
An annual high priority community service project of our Scouts and congregation at Mount Tabor UMC to meet a critical need of providing food for the food pantry at our neighboring Church, Maple Springs UMC, to people who are having a difficult time and need assistance from our community food bank. Boy Scout Troop 934 members will distribute empty food bags following the worship services on February 9 and ask you to return them full of nonperishable items on Sunday, February 16. A collection bin will be placed at the Outreach Table in the Welcome Center. The most critical priority needs are cereal, cereal bars, Pop‐Tarts, all types of crackers (saltines, Ritz, Nabs, and cheese crackers), ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, salad dressing, BBQ sauces.
